Prabhu Deva roped in Sonu Sood for 'Ramaiyya Vasthavaiyya' to play Shruti Haasan’s brother. Then he cast Sonu as the villain in 'R… Rajkumar'. Apparently, Prabhu finds Sonu’s no-fuss attitude refreshing and intends to repeat the actor in future projects as well.
Prabhu acknowledged, “Sonu is a great guy. He is terrific in R…Rajkumar and his combination with Shahid (Kapoor) and Sonakshi (Sinha) is quite remarkable. His role was serious and emotional in Ramaiya Vastavaiya but in R... Rajkumar, he is playing to the gallery and is very entertaining. Seldom do you find a villain who fills you with rage, yet makes you smile. However, Sonu has managed to do that. As for my personal equation with him, I am happy and lucky to be his friend.”
Sonu clearly shares the sentiment. “I share a great rapport with Prabhu,” the actor told us.
“When a director repeats you in back-to-back films, then you are bound to feel nice. Prabhu trusts me and that matters a lot. I am flattered to be his friend,” Sonu added.
