Hyderabad bowlers toil hard as Tripura score 285/2 on Day I
Hyderabad: Manishankar Murasingh and Yogesh Takawale added 188 runs for the unbroken third wicket as Tripura cruised to 285 for two on first day against Hyderabad in a Ranji Trophy group C encounter here today.
At stumps, Murasingh was batting on 140 made in 207 balls with the help of 13 fours and four sixes while former Maharashtra glovesman Yogesh Takawale is undefeated on 65 off 153 balls with six boundaries.
Tripura openers Samrat Singh (26) and former Karnataka opener KB Pawan (44) added 48 runs for the first wicket while Pawan and Murasingh added 49 runs for the second wicket.
After that there were no breakthroughs for the home team bowlers as Murasingh and Takawale played without any hiccups.
For Hyderabad, Majeti Ravi Kiran cleaned up Singha while Pawan tried to cut offie Amol Shinde and was caught behind by glovesman Habeeb Ahmed.
