It looks like Sarath Kumar and khaki are inseparable. In two of his upcoming flicks 'Nimirndhu Nil' and 'Velacheri', Sarath once again dons the police uniform. Now, we hear that the 'Nattamai' star is playing a tough cop in a Tamil film titled Narumugai. For a change, this time around the actor essays a Malaysian cop in the film which has newcomers Ishitha, Arjunlal and Nikitha in the lead. Popular Malayalam actor Manoj K Jayan appears in the role of a taxi driver from Malaysia.
Directed by John Robinson, a former assistant to KS Adhiyaman and Major Ravi, the story revolves around a girl Asha who is born and brought up in Malaysia. She falls for a guy Rohit who runs a music troupe in Kovai. Hence major portions have been shot in Malaysia, a source says.
