Sources from the team of 'Queen' tell us that leading lady Kangna Ranaut has decided to go the Aamir Khan way to promote the film. Kangy has rejected the marketing team’s idea of promoting it aggressively; arguing instead for a subtler campaign.
Accordingly, Kangy will not be promoting 'Queen' excessively on reality shows and other platforms and will let her performance in the promos do the talking.
A source in the know shared, “Kangna dislikes the recent trend of promoting films excessively. She is confident about her performance in 'Queen' and feels that excessive promotions have a contrary effect — the audience gets tired of seeing the same actors everywhere. She says no other film industry promotes their films in such a ‘hyper manner’ and she does not want the audience to be fatigued with the film even before it hits the theatres.”
