Mumbai: Sanjeev 'Bobby' Chawla, brother of Juhi Chawla, passed away this morning in Mumbai.
He was the former CEO of Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment and had been in coma after suffering a massive stroke since April 2010.
Juhi had repeatedly mentioned in many of her interviews throughout these years that her only wish was to see Bobby wake up again.
"This is the perfect screenplay... Look at how my brother timed it... He gave me the biggest gift of my lifetime... Saw its release... And went away...," Juhi posted on Twitter.
Her latest film 'Gulaab Gang' hit theatres two days ago.
Close friend Shah Rukh Khan had dedicated the music of his film ‘Ra.One’ to Bobby Chawla in 2011.
While he was in Chennai attending the music launch of Rajinikanth's film, he tweeted, “When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. May Allah bless my friends soul.”
Farah Khan tweeted, “Bobby chawla, u leave us for a better place.”
"RIP Bobby Chawla - a true gentleman - always wore a smile on his face n had warmth when he greeted you . Condolences to the entire family," Riteish Deshmukh tweeted.
