Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s film Kick has been a hit and now the industry is abuzz with the news that Ravi Teja and director Surender Reddy are teaming up to make a sequel of Kick. The film will be produced by actor-turned-producer Kalyan Ram under NTR Arts banner.
Initially, Surender Reddy said that he would make an experimental film after he completes the Allu Arjun starrer Race Gurram. He is now said to be keeping his experimental film on hold and going ahead with making the sequel of Kick. The director is currently working on the script after which he will finalise the rest of the cast.
Rumours are that Surender Reddy wants to cast Tamanna opposite Ravi Teja in Kick 2. But, the actress has apparently rejected the offer stating date issues. Tamanna is currently busy shooting for the Mahesh Babu starrer Aagadu and is also working on two Tamil and two Hindi films and is busy with these projects till August.
Inspite of Tamanna being busy, Surender Reddy is bent on casting her in Kick 2. While the director plans to begin the shooting of the sequel in June, and Tamanna not being free till August, only time will say if the director plans to wait or delay the project to get Tamanna on board.
