IndiGo to launch four new flights to boost metro connectivity
New Delhi: No-frills carrier IndiGo will launch four new daily flights connecting Delhi directly with Mumbai and Kolkata, giving more option to flyers.
The airline would begin its eighth daily non-stop services between Delhi and Kolkata and 15th daily non-stop flight between Delhi and Mumbai from tomorrow, an airline spokesperson said. Presently, the low cost carrier is operating 494 daily flights, connecting 36 destinations, with 78 brand new Airbus A320 aircraft. These new flights will further consolidate IndiGo's position as the fastest growing airline in India, he said.
Aditya Ghosh, President IndiGo said, "Last year and early 2014, IndiGo has consolidated in domestic dominance by providing seamless connectivity between the metros and tier I-II cities. We at IndiGo are delighted to offer the enhanced connections now between Delhi-Mumbai and Kolkata."
