Vinay Rajkumar kickstarted to become a star
Bengaluru: Dr Rajkumar's grandson Vinay Rajkumar's debut film as an actor, 'Siddarth' was launched amidst much fanfare at the Kanteerava Studios in Bangalore on Friday. Puneeth Rajkumar sounded the clap for the first shot of the film, while Parvathamma Rajkumar switched on the camera.
Vinay said he has done two years preparation before entering the world of cinema. 'It has been my dream to act in a movie and I have been making preparations for the last two years. I have attended acting and fighting workshops. I have learnt mime from Giriraj' said Vinay Rajkumar.
Vinay says 'Siddarth' is the film about today's youth. 'This film is a college love story. It is an youth film and is about today's youth. I am confident that it will appeal to today's audience. It is not a mass or romantic cinema. The film has all the ingredients of a family package' said Vijay Rajkumar.
Raghavendra Rajkumar who is producing the film said the film is about a common student and this film would be a perfect launch for Vinay. Director Prakash said that the story is perfect for a perfect launchpad. 'Jayanth has written the story of the film. We have a good story line and we have taken a lot of time for the screenplay' said Prakash.
