Watch: Raj Kapoor’s grandson Armaan Jain debut in ‘Lekar Hum Deewana Dil’

Mumbai: Armaan Jain, the cousin of Kareena Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor (Raj Kapoor’s grandson) will be making his Bollywood debut with actress Deeksha Seth in Arif Ali’s ‘Lekar Hum Deewana Dil’.

After the success of ‘Love Aaj Kal’ and ‘Cocktail’, Illuminati Films & Eros International are out with their romantic next titled ‘Lekar Hum Deewana Dil’ set to release this summer. The film marks the directorial debut of Arif Ali, brother of noted director Imtiaz Ali.

‘Lekar Hum Deewana Dil’ is all about making mistakes and growing up. It reflects the ‘act first, think later’ sentiments of today's youth and how relationships fail over unrealistic expectations.

The film’s trailer released on May 8. It opens with a couple quarreling in what seems like a couple’s counseling session, and is followed by the couples plans to elope in order to avoid their parents plans of getting them into an arranged marriage.

Arif clearly seems to be following elder brother Imtiaz' footsteps. He is the one who has beautifully brought love stories like these alive on screen, exploring the journey of a guy and a girl and how they fall in love in films like 'Jab We Met', 'Socha Na Tha' and 'Rockstar'

The film is scheduled to release in theatres on July 4 2014.
