Division of assets among Andhra Pradesh, Telangana over
Hyderabad: Chief Secretary P.K. Mohanty informed Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan that under Schedule X, another 38 institutions will be added to the 107 institutions that offer common services to both Telangana and AP states and a proposal to this effect will be sent to the Centre.
Principal secretary, irrigation, Mr Nagi Reddy informed the Governor that the irrigation department has noticed in the AP Reorganisation Act certain discrepancies related to Krishna River Management Board and 16 other projects that are currently under construction on the Krishna and Godavari basins, which were not mentioned in Schedule IX.
The Governor has accepted the proposal to forward it to the Centre for making amendments in the Act.
The CS said that the files pertaining to the two states had been divided and the process of digitalisation has also been completed. The division of movable and immovable assets and vehicles has also been completed. Issues related to All India Service officers and state officials were also reviewed.
State-cadre employees will be allotted to each state according to their ‘nativity,’ based on GO 610. To determine 'nativity', the service record of employees will be taken into consideration. The place mentioned in the nativity column will be considered for allotment.
If an employee has any objection, he or she can reapply by providing a nativity certificate such as school study from Class IV to X to the new governments and seek posting in respective states.
