Book says MH370 was shot down

US-Thai joint strike fighters accidentally assumed it as part of a training drill

Canberra: A new book claims that the missing Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370 was shot down accidentally and its tracks covered up. Flight MH370: The Mystery by Nigel Cawthorne makes the incredible claim that the airline was shot down by US-Thai joint strike fighters accidentally as part of a training drill gone horribly wrong. The book goes on to claim the search party was purposely sent in the wrong direction as part of a cover up.

The family of a missing Brisbane man Rod Burrows who was onboard MH370, have criticised the timing of the book. They say even after 71 days of ongoing search efforts, no one knows what happened to the plane which vanished on March 8 and how a book could be released so soon after. But Mr Cawthorne, He writes in the book how the Burrows, and others, will “almost certainly” never know the real story behind how the ill-fated plane vanished.
