Ponnala supports KCR over division of government employees
Hyderabad: Telangana PCC chief Ponnala Laxmaiah concurred with Chief Minister-designate TRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao on the controversial issue of division of government employees based on their nativity.
Speaking to the media here on Friday, Mr Lakshmaiah said the division of government employees should be done on the basis of nativity. He said the Seemandhra employees should work in the AP government and Telangana employees should work in the Telangana government.
He said the objections raised by the Telangana employees in the process of employees division should be taken into consideration. He hoped that the division of employees will be done in a smooth manner.
Earlier, the Telangana Congress leaders including former MLA Jagga Reddy met Mr Lakshmaiah at his residence and discussed the forthcoming Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections, to be held soon.
Meanwhile, the TPCC chief denied reports that Mr Jagga Reddy is planning to join in BJP. Mr Jagga Reddy clarified that his met actor and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan as a courtesy call and nothing else.
