Hollywood director William Orendorff roped in for Rajinikanth's 'Lingaa'

Chennai: Only days ago DC reported that British actor, singer and dancer Lauren J Irwin would be starring in Superstar Rajinikanth’s film, Lingaa, in a vital pre-Independence sequence.

Now, Texas-born American director, actor and writer William Orendorff will also be joining the Kochadaiiyaan star in the same sequence of the film. William is known for directing films like Proper Villains and The Notice.

Sources close to the unit say that the actor will join the team in August and that they plan to wrap up the shoot as early as possible.

The excited star posted on his official twitter account, “Very excited about being cast in #Lingaa with #rajinikanth signed for a few months now just heard that shooting in August month, #kollywood Love.”

The cast of Lingaa is getting bigger by the day. It was recently learnt that Ravikumar helmed a stunt sequence for the film, a picture of which went viral on social networking sites.

The Padayappa director also celebrated his birthday by cutting the cake on the sets of Lingaa with Superstar Rajinikanth in attendance.
