It’s time for Kollywood fans to revive the glory of outfits and hairstyles popular in the 1980s. The Mundasupatti team has come up with a unique idea to promote their film, which stars Vishnu Vishal and Nandita in the lead. The team had designed a website for promotion of the film, www. Mundasupattistyle. com, which when logged into, allows users to upload their own photos and convert them into one with a big moustache and turban 1980s style.
This has gone viral on the social networking sites. Some even post pictures of their favourite stars in Mundasupatti style. The characters wear outfits in retro style as the film is set in the backdrop of the 1980s. Producer CV Kumar says, “We started the website as a small way of promoting the film, we never thought that people would actually like it. A design team from Mumbai devised it for us. The film is a complete comedy entertainer.”
