Hyderabad: Director P. Sunil Kumar Reddy, who has been making films based on real-life incidents, is now coming up with Oka Criminal Prema Katha. The film focuses on youth, especially students, and the problems they face.
His last film was on illegal abortions and chain snatching – Oka Romantic Crime Katha – and was a big success. “I met a few psychiatrists and police officers for extensive research. I then studied many police cases before I prepared this film’s subject,” says Sunil Kumar Reddy.
The director has won several Nandi Awards for his films. He has always tried to make his films relate something that actually happens in society. “During my research I got to know that figures from AP top the abuse list. This is official data and I was surprised to see the numbers,” he says.
