Victim changed his version when GR Police recorded his statement

Hyderabad: SCR officials stated on Sunday that the victim of Saturday’s robbery on an MMTS train gave contradictory statements on the mishap.

Mr Sri Dattatreya, 60, a retired railway staffer from Malkajgiri was found lying beside a railway track with injuries.

“On initial inquiry, the victim said he was walking to Secunderabad railway station from Sithaphalmandi to receive his relatives when he was stabbed and robbed.
