Mumbai: Bollywood actress Preity Zinta after returning from United States issued a statement through social media website Facebook about her allegations against her ex-boyfriend and industrialist Ness Wadia. Preity who accused Ness Wadia of outraging her modesty is expected to record her statement before police in coming days.

The 39-year-old actress, who had left India soon after filing an FIR against Wadia on June 12, arrived at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport here this afternoon and refused to speak to the waiting media persons.
Later in the evening, Preity first time commented over the issue via social media. Preity updated her status saying that she was exhausted but happy to come back in Mumbai. Preity also apologised to the media for not giving them any comment over the issue. Preity wrote, “I’d like to apologise to the media but it will not be possible for me to make any comments or statements as this investigation is still on.” Preity further requested, “Please co-operate and please don’t call my staff or friends non stop.”

Preity had filed a police complaint on June 12 night alleging that Ness Wadia molested her at Wankhede stadium on May 30 when an IPL match was played between Kings XI Punjab and Chennai Super Kings, while Ness Wadia had denied allegations.
