Decision on Auto Nagar Surya today

Hyderabad: Justice V. Suri Appa Rao of the Hyderabad High Court on Wednesday reserved his decision to Thursday on plea challenging the stay granted by a lower court in Guntur on release of Naga Chaitanya and Samantha starrer Telugu movie “Auto Nagar Surya”.

K. Achi Reddy, producer of the movie, moved the High Court challenging an order granted by the IV Additional Chief District Judge staying the release of the movie on a complaint by Shaik Abdul Mehmood alleging that the producers of the movie have cheated him after collecting the amounts from him to grant rights to exhibit the movie in Guntur, Prakasam and Nellore districts.

Mr Achi Reddy contended that he had nothing to do with the dealing as it was between RR Movie makers and the complainant and RR Movie Makers have no way connected with the movie Auto Nagar Surya. He said that the movie scheduled to be released on June 27 and if the stay continues he will be put into irreparable loss.

The judge said that he will pronounce his decision on Thursday.
