Hyderabad: Catherine Tresa is all set to sign another Telugu film. The actress, who was last seen in Paisa opposite Nani, will play the female lead opposite Vishnu Manchu, according to a source.
The film which is touted to be a comedy entertainer and is being directed by Dasari Narayana Rao, is a remake of a Tamil film Manjapai.
Apart from directing, Dasari Narayana Rao is also acting in the film. He is playing a grandfather and Vishnu Manchu plays his grandson. The subject revolves around these two characters and it’s going to be hilarious, says the source. The film’s shoot will start soon.
Catherine Tresa has starred in two Telugu films, Iddarammayilatho and Paisa. She is currently busy with a couple of Tamil films and is also paired opposite Allu Arjun in Rudramadevi.
