Farah Khan all praise for newbie Saahil Prem
Mumbai: After Shah Rukh Khan, it’s his good friend Farah Khan’s turn to support newcomer Saahil Prem. The young newcomer is being touted as the pioneer of the “item boys” phenomenon in the industry.
The actor, who will be making his directorial debut with dance extravaganza M.A.D. seems to have impressed ace choreographer Farah with his moves on the dance-floor.
Farah, who was present at the trailer launch of the film, said, “The dance I see in M.A.D. is probably something we have never seen on Indian screens before. What’s admirable is that Saahil has stuck to the dance form. The film has not ‘Bollywoodised’ any of the dances. Saahil is a superb dancer and I’m sure he will be the next ‘item boy’ of Bollywood!”
Being one of the top names in the industry, Farah has had the experience of working with superstars such as Hrithik Roshan, SRK, Aamir Khan and also Varun Dhawan and a whole lot of the newer actors.
“Hrithik was a good dancer right from the word go. A star dancer can hone his skills with practice, but the spark is unmistakable when they face the camera for the first time,” she says. So is she trying to say Saahil is a Hrithik in the making?
