Chennai: Actor-turned-filmmaker Parthiban confirms that he is playing a meaty role in Suriya’s Masss, helmed by Venkat Prabhu. It was the Anjaan star who informed Parthiban about the latter’s role in the film. Though the senior actor confirms that he’s been brought on board, he has not been briefed about his role yet. He says, “I’m told that I have a special character to essay in Masss, a very significant one.
I’m looking forward to the movie as this is the first time I’m sharing screen space with Suriya.” Parthiban is also playing a pivotal role in the untitled Dhanush-Vetrimaran flick. The actor, who completed five days of shooting for the film, remained tight-lipped about his character. He is likely to join the crew post the theatrical release of his directorial venture, Kathai Thirakkathai Vasanam Iyakkam, on August 1.
