Hyderabad: Harshavardhan Rane is certainly going places! He will be playing the lead in Avunu 2 directed by Ravi Babu. All earlier reports of Rana Daggubati doing the film, can now be put to rest. Harshavardhan Rane confirmed that he is doing the film. “I have just signed the film Avunu 2 and the shooting will start from August 1, the day my other film Maaya releases,” says Harsha. The actor is happy to work with Ravi Babu again as he played the lead in Avunu. “I can’t share more details about the film at this point, but I can say that Ravi sir is the director and one of the biggest production houses in Tollywood is going to produce this film,” says the actor.
Harsha has his fingers crossed for Maaya, releasing in this week. It is his first commercial film as the lead. "I think Maaya will prove lucky for me as after signing for this film, I got an offer for a Hindi film and now there’s Avunu 2," says the actor.
