Case against Ram Charan Teja film crew stayed
Posters of the film amounts to printing and circulating grossly indecent material
Hyderabad: Justice K.G. Shankar of the High Court on Monday stayed criminal cases against the crew and cast of Ram Charan Teja starrer Telugu film Yevadu.
The judge was dealing with a petition by Ram Charan Tej, film producer Dil Raju, director Vamsi and local distributor, submitting that Yemmiganur police in Kurnool district registered a case against them on the complaint of a local resident.
According to the complaint, the posters of the film amounts to printing and circulating grossly indecent material and was also an offence under the Indecent Representation of Women’s Act.
