Exclusive: Shah Rukh Khan's screen name is ‘Charlie’ in 'Happy New Year'

Mumbai: The trailer of this year’s much awaited film ‘Happy New Year’ will be unveiled in a grand style at a suburban venue tomorrow. The film starring Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh Khan, Sonu Sood, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani and Vivaan went on floors last year with its first schedule in Dubai. Farah Khan has put together such a huge star cast and managed all the date hassles that come with a multi star cast movie. While the promo will be out tomorrow, Deccan Chronicle get you some exclusive details on how the promo is going to look like…

The length of the promo is approximately 3 minutes and friends of Shah Rukh, who have already seen it, just have one word to say, ‘outstanding’.

Another friend who has seen the promo recounts, “ There is romance, action, thrills, comedy, drama, dance all packaged together in a 3 minute promo.”

Shah Rukh, who made sure everybody was part of the poster that was launched earlier this year has given equal importance to all the actors in the trailer. All the characters will be introduced one after the other with their close up and their character names.

Talking about character names, Shah Rukh is called ‘Charlie’ in the film. Yes, that’s his screen name.

Deepika Padukone, who plays a marathi dancer, her screen name is 'Mohini'.

Sonu Sood's screen name is 'Jag'.

Abhishek Bachchan's screen name is ' Nandu Bhide'

Boman Irani is called ' Tammy' in the film.

Vivaan Shah will be playing 'Rohan' in the flick.

Coming to the final packaging as to why its coined as ‘ Indiawaale’ is because Shah Rukh will be seen holding a tri-colour flag and will give a powerful punch dialogue in the trailer.
