Chennai:Suriya’s Anjaan has opened big at the box-office — but the lead star of the movie is apparently miffed at all the negativity surrounding the film. Addressing the press during the movie screening, an indignant Suriya said, “There’s been a lot of hate spread deliberately by a few people, and surprisingly by those who haven’t even seen it yet! I can take opinions about the product, but I can’t accept personal bashing.”
The actor who said he was hurt by all the unjustified hostility and insisted that he’d been getting positive reports from all the centres where the movie was released, “Anjaan was released in a maximum number of 1500 screens so that everyone could go to the theater to watch the film and piracy will be curbed. It’s a movie for the masses and not for a particular segment of people. I’m always open to constructive criticism, but not personal attacks."
