Schools to hire TVs for PM Modi's speech
Hyderabad: In an attempt to reach out to the students of the country, most states are set to ensure an interaction with the Prime Minister on Teacher’s day.
“We have been asked to provide information on the medium of access available, whether we have television sets or radios or have access to YouTube for live streaming. We will provide the information and make necessary arrangements for the address between 3 to 5 pm,” a senior Telangana education department official said.
Despite the TRS ruling the state, there is no dissent and instructions to comply have been passed. “It is a common instruction to all the states and arrangements that can be made have to be made,” the official said.
In Andhra Pradesh, officials have been told to hire television sets, if needed, for students to watch the telecast of Mr Modi’s speech.
