KCR to invite PM Modi for October International Mayors meet
President Pranab Mukherjee is also likely to be called
Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao will call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Saturday to invite him for the four-day International Mayors’ Conference to be held in Hyderabad from October 7. The Chief Minister will also discuss a host of pending issues pertaining to state.
Mr Rao will call on Prime Minister on Saturday at 11 am. He is also likely to call on the President.
Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, who will be in Delhi on Saturday, will also call on a host of Union ministers, including Ra-jnath Singh, M. Venkaiah Naidu, Ravi-shanker Prasad and Smriti Irani, to discuss pending issues.
Mr Rao left for New Delhi on a two-day visit on Friday evening along with Telangana Rashtra Samiti secretary-general and MP Dr K. Kesava Rao, party MP B. Vinod Kumar, political secretary to Chief Minister Subhash Reddy and others.
