Lenovo has launched a new 13-inch tablet, the YOGA Tablet 2 Pro, having an onboard projector. The platinum-coloured tablet is 3.7mm thin and weighs around 950 grams. YOGA Tablet 2 Pro is powered by the 4th generation Intel Atom processor, which enables multi-tasking, better multimedia playback and rendering. It sports an 8MP rear camera and comes with an in-built storage capacity of 32GB, which can be further expanded up to 64GB using a microSD card.
The Pico projector offers around 8-watts of audio quality. One can even project a 16:9 high resolution image onto any surface, stated the company. Its dual, large-chamber speakers are on the front. On the other hand, subwoofer rounds it out with deep bass notes, and the Dolby Audio and Wolfson Master HiFi ensures a multi-channel function while viewing movies.
YOGA Tablet 2 Pro offers four modes-Hold, Tilt, Stand and Hang. The Hold mode helps one to handle the tablet more conveniently. Tilt enables improved online browsing and read content from digital libraries using the Stand mode. This tablet also comes pre-loaded with Brewster for an organised management of contacts. Its Brewster files contacts from various apps into one address book, that can also share verified contact information to a user’s contacts.
The company hasn’t yet revealed the price of the tablet for the Indian market. However, the YOGA Tablet 2 Pro is expected to go on stands by the end of October.
