Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Gear S finally arrive in India
Samsung has finally launched its two new flagship devices, the Galaxy Note 4 and Gear S in India.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features a 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560x1440 pixel) Super AMOLED display, having a wider viewing angle, with 2.5D glass screen protection. The phablet runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS and has an onboard storage capacity of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is 32GB and is expandable up to 128GB.
On its camera front, the device features a high-end 16MP rear snapper, with a Smart Optical Image Stabilizer that can counter-balance camera shake. This camera can also extend its exposure time in dark settings automatically. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 also sports a 3.7MP front camera with f1.9, that comes with a 90-degree shooting angle/120-degree wide angle.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has an in-built voice recorder that enables eight different directional voice tagging. The company stated that its selective playback feature allows one to listen to only specific voices in a group conversation. With its Multi Tasking window, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 offers you the option of choosing between full-length, split or pop-up screens, thus enabling you to change the size and positioning of apps on the screen.? It also offers an improved ‘Fingerprint scanner’ with UV sensor for personal data security.?
Demo: S pen can be used like a calligraphy pen and a mouse
The Air Command on S Pen is powered with features like the Action Memo, Screen Write, Image Clip and Smart Select, to allow faster note-taking methods, using the S Note application. Its Photo note feature also allows users to click a picture of their notes on a paper or a classroom board, which can also convert it into the S Note widget.
With the Fast Charging feature and Ultra Power Saving Mode, the phablet ensures better battery life. The company claims that the Fast Charging feature can charge your battery from 0% to 50 per cent in 30 minutes. Galaxy Note 4 users will be offered 50GB of cloud storage from Dropbox for two years.
Samsung Gear S:
The Gear S features a 2-inch (5 cm) curved display and offers features like WiFi connectivity, pedestrian navigation and a built-in GPS. This device will run on Samsung's nascent Tizen operating system, coupled with 512MB RAM and 4GB onboard storage capacity.
The MRP of Galaxy Note 4 phablet is Rs 61,500 and Gear S is priced at Rs 29,000 for the Indian market.
