PM Narendra Modi assured full co-operation to Chandrababu Naidu on Hudhud cyclone
Modi had undertaken an aerial survey of the cyclone-affected areas
Visakhapatnam: Before landing at the damaged airport IN Vizag, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had undertaken an aerial survey of the cyclone-affected areas.
“Don’t worry, we are with you. We will stand by the AP government in this hour of difficulty; people of the region have confidence in the government for restoring normalcy,” Mr Modi told Mr Naidu during the review meeting.
“I was very happy in the US when I had announced developing Vizag into a smart city. Now the crisis has hit us, but we will soon emerge from all difficulties,” the PM said.
Lauding the AP government and the Met department for minimising human loss by using the latest technology and taking effective measures, Mr Modi said that the AP government had done a great job in terms of co-ordination with various departments.
With perfect co-ordination between the Center and the state, a big problem was tackled and similarly if the state and Union government worked together, the biggest crisis could be overcome, he said.
