Diwali is the biggest festival in India, and it brings joy and happiness together with your family. Gifting is at its peak moment and shopping websites and businesses make the most out of their customers during this period.
Most sales are targeted towards a festive season. With two festivals around the block, Dhanteras and Diwali, offers and discounts are all around the internet.
Amongst the online retailers, Amazon ran a Diwali Dhamaka sale from 10th October to 16th October. The sale offered great discounts and many made the most of the deals. Snapdeal also ran their sales with almost 50% discounts and 1+1 offers. Now, the shopping discounts are at its peak—there is a fierce competition between the rival companies.

With Dhanteras on the 21st of October and Diwali just two days later, there is less time for shopping. Amazon is offering discounts with minimum 16% and maximum of up to 56% discounts on certain products and deals of the day. These include laptops, mobiles, household items and home appliances. Laptops are on sale with almost 20% discounted tags.
Snapdeal has started the Dhanteras offer sales with massive discounts of up to 50% off and 1+1 offers on many products. Products with flat 50% discount are highlights on most of their shopping pages. Mobile phones and gadgets are also available with almost 60 – 70% discounts.
Flipkart, on the other hand seems to have burnt their fingers with the recent big billion sale and there seems to be no offers from the shopping website as yet. Well, we are not sure as of now, but Flipkart could have something up their sleeve as they are known for big surprises, though many were witnessed as disasters.
