Mumbai: Gurunath Meiyappan's voice sample has been confirmed in a tapped conversation in IPL spot-fixing scandal, according to NDTV.
The final report prepared by Justice Mukul Mudgal Committee which was appointed to investigate IPL fixing and corruption scandal, has confirmed the voice samples of Gurunath Meiyappan, son-in-law of N Srinivasan and an important figure in Chennai Super Kings (CSK), according to reports.

The conversation took place between Meiyappan and Bollywood actor Vindoo Dara Singh during the 2013 edition of Indian Premier League. The revelation of this kind would put CSK and their future in the Indian Premier League in threat.
The Mumbai police had arrested Gurunath Meiyappan in 2013 after he was charged with betting in Indian Premier League 2013.
As the news broke out, former cricketer Kirit Azad said.
