It is nothing short of a fairytale wedding at Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad
Mumbai: The D-day has arrived - November 18 will be remembered in the history as Salman Khan's sister's wedding. The Bollywood wedding that had a royal twist. The princess of this tale is Arpita Khan, the adopted daughter of Salim Khan and Helen and the youngest sibling of the Khan brothers and the groom - Aayush Sharma, son of Himachal Pradesh cabinet minister Anil Sharma .
Every girl wishes to have a royal wedding and Arpita is one of those lucky few who will get to have one in reality. It was at her behest that the Khan family decided to book the palace which costs nothing less than a crore a day for the grand wedding. This being the first wedding in the family since the last 16 years, they are leaving no stone unturned for the gala affair.

The venue of the wedding has a history of its own. Built by a British architect and owned by the Nizams, it has a rare and exquisite ruby collection and a two-ton stone which is nowhere else to be found. The grand palace is hosting the wedding entourage on two days-November 17 and 18. The pre-wedding rituals took place in Mumbai on November 16 post which the couple along with their will families flew down to Hyderabad for the rest of the festivities.

When it comes to the choice of wedding clothes, there was always speculation as to who would weave the grand bridal wear. Looks like Manish Malhotra walked away with the exciting job of making Arpita's 'shaadi ka joda'.

Who all will make it ? The guest list is said to include the A to Z of Bollywood and national leaders including the Prime Minister who was personally invited by Salman Khan and his sister Alvira Khan.It remains to be seen if he would be able to make it because he will be going to Australia during the same period.The guest-list features names like Aamir Khan,Shah Rukh Khan,Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Karan Johar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Subhash Ghai and many others. Considering the groom’s political linkage , Sonia Gandhi and Rahul are expected to be among the list of invitees.

While the couple and their families are wrapped up in the grand wedding ceremony which will undoutebdly be a glittering gala affair with celebrities from all walks of life, the rest of us can vicariously live through the ceremonies while the couple celebrate their union of love.
