PM Narendra Modi not to cancel Kashmir Valley visit
PM Modi is due to speak at two rallies in the Valley on Monday
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday condemned the multiple attacks in Kashmir, saying these were “desperate attempts” to derail the “atmosphere of hope created by the increased voter turnout,” and saluted the soldiers who laid down their lives.
Mr Modi is due to speak at two rallies in the Valley on Monday.
PMO sources said that he will go ahead with his programme despite the terror attacks.
Paying tribute to the slain defence personnel, the PM said, “125 crore Indians bow to our brave Armymen. These men lived and died for the nation. We won’t forget them.”
