The film fraternity has, for long, wanted to see Naga Chaitanya and NTR Jr together in the remake of the old classic film Gundamma Katha that starred Akkineni Nageswara Rao and N.T. Rama Rao.
But unfortunately, that film didn’t come through for several reasons. However the stars may be seen together in a multi-starrer soon, according to reports.
According to a close source, Naga Chaitanya and NTR Jr will work together in a film to be directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar. The film is likely to start next year and will be produced by a big production house. The female lead is yet to be finalised.
The film is a remake of Malayalam film Bangalore Days, the rights of which have been acquired by Dil Raju. As he is busy with a few films, a big production house will take over the film’s production and Dil Raju may be a part of the film, the sources added.
Senior actors Nagarjuna and Balakrishna have had differences of opinion over the last one year, so it will be interesting to see Naga Chaitanya and NTR Jr get together for a film.
