Peshawar: Around 130 children have been brutually killed and dozens wounded in a suicide attack by the Tehreek-e-Taliban on an army-run school in Pakistan's Peshawar on Tuesday, officials said.
Militant outfit TTP, which has claimed responsibility for the attack, say the school was targeted because 'army targets our families.' “We want them to feel our pain,” TTP say.

The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack, saying it was retaliation for the army's continuing operation against militants in the North Waziristan tribal area close to Peshawar.
Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is an alliance of militant groups formed in 2007 to unify groups fighting against the Pakistani military in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan.
Baitullah Mahsud, the first TTP leader, was killed in an explosion on 5 August 2009 and was succeeded by Hakimullah Mehsud, who vowed to deploy suicide operatives to the United States.
The group has repeatedly threatened to attack the US homeland, and a TTP spokesman claimed responsibility for the failed vehicle bomb attack in Times Square, New York City, on 1 May 2010.
In June 2011, a spokesman vowed to attack the United States and Europe in revenge for the death of Usama Bin Ladin. A TTP leader in April 2012 endorsed external operations by the group and threatened attacks in the UK for their involvement in Afghanistan.
