Prakash Raj, Srinu Vaitla forced to patch up
The differences between actor Prakash Raj and director Srinu Vaitla during Aagadu’s shooting had made headlines earlier this year.
After just a day’s shoot the director had replaced Prakash with another actor. Things had turned bitter and the two had complained to the AP Film Chamber.
But the news now is that the two might be working again. Srinu Vaitla will be directing Ram Charan in his next film and sources say that the director is under pressure from the actor and the producer to have Prakash Raj on board.
“In Charan’s earlier film Govindudu Andari Vaadele, it was Chiranjeevi who had asked the director to take Prakash Raj instead of Raj Kiran. So in this film too they wanted Prakash Raj,” says the source.
Prakash, meanwhile is ready to let bygones be bygones. After all, in politics and films, there are no permanent friends and enemies. There’s also of course the fact that as an actor, he has more to lose than Vaitla.
When asked whether he was game for working in the film, Prakash says, “Why not? What is wrong in it? That issue is over. Life has to begin again.”
