Hyderabad: Home Minister N. Chinna Rajappa has drawn the flak for jumping the gun on the capital area fire incident without the cops concluding the probe. Mr Chinna Rajappa had said that he suspected the involvement of the YSR Congress in the Tullur incident.
Senior advocates, former police officials and Opposition party leaders have said that the home minister should have maintained restraint, as the police is part of his department.
Advocate Raju Yadav said, “The investigation is still on and the home minister himself is pointing a finger at one party like a politician. The culprits must be arrested based on evidence,” YSRC leader Ambati Rambabu also took serious note of the remarks made by the ministers of the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet.
