Hyderabad: A pregnant woman who was undergoing treatment for swine flu at the Osmania General Hospital died on Saturday taking the toll in Telangana to 10.
Three kids have tested positive in Hyderabad.
The new patients are a 17-month old boy from Banjara Hills, a three-year-old girl from Medchal and an 8-year-old boy from Old Alwal. All the children are undergoing treatment in the city.
Apart from this a 56-year-old woman from Nizamabad and a 26-year-old woman from Miyapur were also confirmed to have swine flu. The total number of cases in both the states now stands at 86. The months of November and December have seen a steep rise in cases. The trend is bound to continue till the cold weather continues. Doctors are asking people to ensure hygiene which to curb the spread of the virus.
