Islamabad: Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency on Saturday challenged the bail orders of the alleged mastermind of Mumbai attacks, Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, in the Islamabad High Court. Special prosecutor FIA Chaudhry Mohammed Azhar challenged his bail in the high court and requested it to suspend the Anti Terrorism Court order.
The prosecutor said there was sufficient evidence against the suspect in the case and that the trial court ignored it while granting him bail. The IHC will take up the matter on January 5.
