Vijayawada: Three persons including two women were killed on the spot in a suspected LPG cylinder explosion early on Tuesday morning in a house at Chittinagar of Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh.
According to information, Korada Ramana, 45 and his wife Korada Nirmala who were living in the ground floor of a building in Chittinagar were killed due a cylinder blast that occurred at around 7. 30am.
Kondeti Ramanamma, 65 who was Ramana's neighbour was also killed on the spot.
Sk Baji aged over 45, received severe injury to his head and was rushed to a hospital for treatment. Three others including Karthikeya, Nikitha and Teja Swaroop who received injuries were also rushed to hospital.
The severity of the explosion was so severe that the entire floor of the house was completely damaged.
Kothapeta police and fire officials are investigating the mishap.
