Sources confirm cricketer has been approached to join the political outfit

Mumbai: It looks like the Amit Shah-led BJP is playing its cards really well. In its endeavour to overpower the Trinamool Congress government of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, highly placed sources and TV reports are citing that the party has now approached the ‘Dada’ of West Bengal, Sourav Ganguly to join the political outfit soon.
The BJP has been, till now, quite successful in shaking the TMC government and has taken Didi’s government head on, on several issues including the multi-crore Saradha scam.
The 42-year-old Ganguly has represented India in 113 Tests and 311 ODIs. Currently, he is the Joint Secretary of Cricket Association Of Bengal. If roped in, from cricket to politics, will Dada be able to triumph in the state?
