Hyderabad: The commissioner for Cooperation and Registrar of Cooperative Societies of Telangana state, has issued a show-cause notice to the president and secretary of the Jubilee Hills Cooperative House Buil-ding Society for alleged violation of by-laws.
The notice was issued for failing to furnish information sought by the members of the Society, despite its earlier directions.
The president and managing committee of the Society have been asked to submit their explanation on or before January 27, 2015.
S. Padma Reddy, a member of the society and one of the complainants said, “The president and managing committee have regularly been violating the by-laws of the society.
Board meetings are conducted without prior notice and many of the members are not even intimated about the meetings. There are many violations in the society, but no explanations are offered.”
