Mumbai: Katrina Kaif has commenced shooting for ‘Fitoor’ in Kashmir. The team has been shooting in Kashmir since November and the actress joined them in the second schedule. The social networking site was flooded with fans posting pictures of the actress shooting for the film. The crew had asked her to brace herself for the extreme climatic conditions there.
Katrina has been provided with three-tier security for her four day shoot in the city. The first day saw a funeral scene being filmed at the famous Nishat Bagh. The actress looked mesmersing in the white attire. Apparently, the scene being shot was that of begum's (played by Rekha) funeral.
The film is an adaptation of Charles Dickens' 'Great Expectations' novel starring Rekha and Aditya Roy Kapur.
