Delhi elections rout has Rahul Gandhi in hot water
New Delhi: The Congress’ failure to open its account in the Delhi Assembly polls has again put a question mark on the leadership of Rahul Gandhi. The results have come at a time when his elevation as party chief is imminent this year.
The party is neither in a position to celebrate the BJP’s Waterloo in general nor able to console itself after drawing a blank in the Delhi polls, . “This is the 15th Assembly election the party has fought under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi,” recalled party insiders while drawing attention to how the Congress got defeated state after state.
