Since the law of thermodynamics states 'energy can neither be created nor be destroyed', Pornhub decided to conserve the energy they thought was perhaps not being used effectively.
Still in its beta testing stages, the 'Wankband' is a wearable device that converts the energy created during masturbation to help charge mobile phones. The watch-like device is grabbing headlines for its unique idea of tapping the kinetic energy created by shaking and beating of the wrist.

Wearable gadgets are being envisaged as the future of technology. The 'wankband' is not a fitness tracker but it will help channelise the energy through a small inner valve in the device. The website goes on to highlight - "Everyday millions of adult content are consumed online, wasting energy in the process and huting the environment. At Pornhub we decided to do something about it. Introducing the Wankband: The first wearable tech that allows you to to love the planet by loving yourself."
