After trolling Pakistan, 'Mauka' comes to haunt Indian cricket board
Mumbai: While the Indian team is out of the World Cup 2015 following a loss against Australia in the semifinal, the Mauka fever seems to be still on. However, this time around, it is not Star Sports, the broadcasters of the World Cup, who have anything to do with this.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India have been receiving calls following India’s World Cup exit and are being asked, ‘Mauka mauka! Kya hua mauke ka?’ reported Indian Express on Saturday.
The report further added that when BCCI officials tried to trace the calls, it was found that the calls were made from Bangladesh and Pakistan; something that has not happened in the past.

The Pakistan cricket team fans were not too happy when the first 'Mauka' ad took a dig at their national team's poor record against India. The supporters of Bangladesh cricket team were irrate after India knocked the Mashrafe Mortaza-led unit out of World Cup.

While their ICC president claimed that the game was fixed, Bangladesh's Prime Minister stated that their cricket team was 'made to lose'.

A BCCI official told the daily, “The BCCI office number is available on our website. These over-zealous people were simply happy that India lost. They pulled a prank on us but after a point it got really irritating. The advertisement was popular but I didn’t expect it to come back at us like this.”
