After a successful run at the box office, 'NH 10' makers plan a sequel
Mumbai: NH 10’s road to success was a very bumpy one. The film starring Anushka Sharma, Neil Bhoopalam and Darshan Kumaar was applauded by the industry. The film, a stereotype-breaking entertainer by Navdeep Singh was a bold move. It has come a long way after the Censor Board debating whether to pass the film with a few cuts or not pass it at all.
Following the success of the film, the makers have decided to come up with a sequel tentatively titled ‘NH12’- the highway that connects Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh) to Jaipur (Rajasthan). It is the second in a series of road films that Phantom intends to make in the next few years.
The format of road films has not been explored and experimented with and the makers wanT to take a step to make it a franchise. It is not know whether this time too Anushka will be roped in for the sequel or not.
