Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, HTC One M9 fails bend test
Apple’s iPhone 6 suffered the Bendgate issue soon after the launch. The iPhones were found bending by some owners. The Bendgate issue slowly died down when reports of the iPhone 6 bending became scarce and Apple revealed record sales of over 70 million iPhone 6 smartphones around the globe.
Now that the HTC One M9 Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are out, they were also tested for the Bendgate issue. A test conducted on the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge confirms that the smartphone is just as fragile as the iPhone 6 Plus.

When the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge was put to the test, the smartphone reached the bending point as same as the iPhone 6 Plus, but didn’t pass the test even at the same pressure. The S6 Edge’s screen cracked at the same pressure of 110 pounds and was completely destructed at 149 pounds.
