Vijayawada: Rytu Sangham meeting called up on the farmers to oppose the land acquisition Act without political barricades. The Andhra Pradesh Rytu Sangham conducted the meeting here on Monday and opposed the land acquisition plans of the government.
Former minister Vadde Sobhanadreswara Rao here on Monday said that the Land Acqu-isition Bill-2013 comes into force after severe efforts of the people. But the present BJP-led NDA government was making plans to change it for benefiting industrialists. He said that the present government was behaving more like the British rulers by damaging the interests of farmers. He said that several industrialists were enjoying by getting loans from banks and investing the funds in realty business.
CPI state secretary K. Ramakrishna said that no one asked to modify the changes in Land Acquisition Act-2013.
